Peer review #2

 Peer review

This weeks peer review tasks were interesting to write comments about the article was of use to me, Feedback. However it was too long and took me too long to even skim through, I did try to use different reading techniques. From my first blog I’m trying to learn how to properly phrase my sentences and use different methods of writing. I learned that commas aren’t the only thing I can use to separate my sentences, for example brackets/commas; and dashes- may be used to separate sentences. This is a method used to make your sentences look and sound better; it adds flair. The other new techniques that I want to use in my next blog is keeping my paragraphs structured correctly and straight to the point.

In the article the study stated “In other words, the finding suggests that, although the quality of peer feedback that students receive may not have a direct impact on the quality of their final projects, students’ ability to critically evaluate and analytically adopt peer feedback may make valuable
contribution to the quality of their projects.” Meaning students themselves adapt to the positive feedback, it may not change the whole grade but they process the information to critically evaluate and use this in their project.

When I gave my feedback I reminded myself of the spark method and followed each method so I could give the correct feedback. I pinpointed specific sentences that's allowed me to give useful feedback with each piece of feedback I tried to give a solution so they can use this as positive feedback. I also kept on topic so it's valid for the class task criteria but most of all I was really kind when I was giving feedback which is crucial. My reading experience was not enjoyable but it had some interest however I learned no ideas on improving my writing.
